AW14: Orla Kiely

September is here, bringing with it a feeling of promise and new beginnings that come with the changing of the seasons at this time of year. Autumn is (some of) the Betty team’s favourite time of year, when those first few golden leaves start to fall on the ground and a drop in temperature occurs, it means we can finally start to think about cosying up in our favourite jumpers and coats.

Orla Kiely AW14 was (and ALWAYS is) our favourite show of London Fashion Week. We were lucky enough to be able to get up close to the action and take a step backstage to watch the show preparation unfold. As soon as we stepped behind the grand wooden doors we knew that our wish lists were going to be long, from the 60’s backcombed ponytails, to the latest Clarks show collaboration, everything was plucked straight out of our retro Autumn dreams. Thank you team Orla for another stand out show, never have we looked forward to the rain so much!
