Our kitchen make over, what a journey. We started on May 17th 2021 and completed it in the last week of January 2022, something about the kitchen intimated me so much, so we just took our time. I adore how it turned out, sometimes slow and steady wins the race.
One question I get a lot, is asking about where I get my rugs from. I wasn’t gatekeeping this information, I promise, I just wanted to give them a few weeks to see if I would recommend them, and as I should have a predicted weeks turned into months…but here they are!
I use my phone to create a lot of content, and edit it too. I thought I’d share my most used apps to help me create both photo and video content for work.
Although I did paint these stripes last year, I am about to recreate them elsewhere in my house so I thought I’d jog my memory on how I did it. It’s such a great way to add some focus and character to a room.

A short but sweet blog post from me today. I am trying to make sure when I mention something on Instagram you can find it easily either on my grid, highlights or on the blog as I know it can be super frustrating when you look at can’t find what you’re after. I have had so many questions about this perfume brand since I shared it, so I wanted to give it a bit more dedicated room on the blog.
In the last year, the increase of things that we can get in the post has skyrocketed, one of them being the increase in food businesses adapting to nationwide delivery. After a year of lockdown, whilst I am very grateful for our lovely house that’s kept us safe, and allowed us to stay at home, there’s chipped paint, muddy walls, and clutter all over. It’s been well lived in and whilst I don’t believe any of these things to be a bad thing, it’s starting to feel like it needs some TLC now that Spring has arrived.
Apparently, according to a quick search of the blog, this is my FIFTH TV round up. I'm clearly obsessed with the box. You can find previous recommendations here, and for the record, you won’t find any murder mysteries or crime drama around these parts.
Relaunching the blog is something I’ve wanted to do since the start of the year, but for a number of reasons, it’s fallen down my to-do list several times. However today is the day I draw a line under that, I have blog posts planned for the next quarter, all I have to do is write and share them. Sounds simple right?
Well, not exactly.
A question somebody asked me recently, is where do I buy all my plates from? I need absolutely no further encouragement to discuss crockery with you, so obviously the natural thing to do was dedicated a 1000 words to sharing some of my favourites finds with you in a blog post.
