AD: Christmas Gifts with Boots

This post is a paid collaboration with Boots.

This time of year, the list of gifts to buy can be ever growing, from stocking fillers, to teacher thank you gifts, and not forgetting Secret Santa gifts. And whilst I love these traditions, sometimes it can put pressure on your time and bank balance. Plus with us all being more mindful of how we shop, we don’t want to purchase someone something for the sake of it, that’s going to end up put in a cupboard somewhere, or being regifted

I don't think you can go far wrong with beauty products at this time of year, it's a little luxury that I am always so pleased to receive as a gift. Thank goodness Boots have done the leg work for you so you can use it as a one stop shop this Christmas and get them something they really want. They’ve curated different categories, including 'Christmas Gifts For Her' and Christmas Gifts For Him to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.

Below I’ve picked out some of my favourite bits that I’d be only too happy to find in my stocking or under the tree as my Secret Santa present.

Lanolips Tinted Ointment

The one and only lip balm I swear by, Lanolips contains lanolin which is a wonderful ingredient that nourishes and repairs your lips in this cold weather. Their tinted balms can be found in all my coat pockets and handbags this time of year. Starting at £8.99, it’s a really top tier stocking filler. If you're looking for anymore suggestions, they also do a brilliant hand cream and you can't go wrong with the classic Lanolips formula, an absolute winter staple.

You could always team this with a nail polish if you wanted to theme a present, you can't go far wrong with a polish from Essie or Nails Inc, who have lots of products on 3 for 2 (cheapest item free) right now in limited edition Christmas packaging, this Dancing All Night Long shade is a fail safe at Christmas.

Liz Earle Spiced Bitter Orange Candle

I don’t think you can go wrong with a scented candle, and Liz Earle’s are something to write home about. This Spiced Bitter Orange scent is perfect for evoking a rich and cosy scent which is perfect for winter, this has gone to the top of my list for favourite scents of the season. It’s made from natural wax burns for 17 hours. Plus the gift box makes it a super easy one to wrap, so bonus points for Liz Earle!

You also can’t go wrong with the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish set which comes in both a smaller stocking filler size and a bigger size, this suits almost all skin types.

Origins Masking Gift Set

For that someone that might need a little R&R, Origins products are perfect for a little pick me up. These five masks, are such a good discovery set for anyone’s bathroom cabinet. Ranging from Drink Up™ which is an intensive overnight hydrating mask, to Original Skin™ which is a great retexturising mask, a true skin savour for the colder months.

If you've got a bit more budget to play with, the Origins Let It Glow Skincare gift is a Boots exclusive and contains some of Origins star products, from their Vitamin C serum to the Resurfacing Cream - all cult classics that really help with winter skin.

Nars Stargaze Palette

Enter the big guns, the gift you want to get to impress, the Nars Stargaze Eyeshadow Palette. Nars is my go to eyeshadow brand, and this time of year they always curate the best looking gifts for under the tree. This limited edition palette adorned in stars contains 12 wonderful shades that will be loved long after the festive season draws to a close.

Also in the Nars gifting family is this Orgasm Triple Threat trio, this is my favourite all time blusher - I wear it almost everyday. It comes with the iconic Multiple, and lip stain too. The colour is a really soft peachy pink, with a sheer golden shimmer that I always get compliments on.
