fashion
I am obsessed with all things fashion. Whether it's a look inspired by decades past or the latest trend, here I share my favourite brands, independent designers and must-have pieces.
Stalf is a self described ‘easy wear’ brand, created by Paris Hodson in 2015. It’s all designed, and manufactured in this very building in Lincolnshire which is such a wonderful story behind the clothes.
I am sure you have seen by now on Instagram that I am a HUGE Sleeper fan since I discovered the brand four or so years ago, and ever since I haven’t wanted to wear much else in the summertime.
It’s safe to say I’ve got a type when it comes to dresses. A midi or maxi length, mostly with a sleeve and almost always with pockets. I do wear dungarees, jumpsuits and ever so occasionally even jeans but I find it much easier to reach for a dress in the morning and in seconds I’m ready to go.
It seems quite wild that I am writing a whole blog post dedicated to a steamer and debobbler, but I would say hands down it’s my most FAQ over on Instagram DMs, so here goes!
Designer bags sounds like such a late 90s early 00s term, and makes me think of a Dior Saddle bag (never saw the return of that coming) or the Fendi Baguette and more recently the Mulberry Alexa. Maybe it’s because I was in my late teens during that time period, that lusting over handbags has never left me.
I realise talking about hair and make-up in such detail might seem trivial, but it made me feel like the best version of me on our wedding day.
For one time only I hand over the blog to my husband Jack. He got a made to measure suit for the wedding from the now iconic in our house, Beggars Run, read all about his experience.
Today starts a look back at our wedding, and because I think it was one of my favourite aspects, I wanted to share my experience with getting a dress made…spoiler, I loved it!
After saving up and selling a few pieces I decided the time had finally come to take the pair an invest in a pair of Grenson Nanette boots, the question is: are they worth it?
As I change my name, I thought that saying goodbye to Betty deserved a lengthy recap of the past few years, I hope you like it!
I have some really exciting news, that you may have seen over on Instagram already! I have been invited to do my first product collaboration with Fonott, an artisanal brand which sells bags based in the Netherlands…
Too hot to do anything to your hair!? Try a headscarf for a chic finish to what is commonly known in summer as ‘scraping your hair back off your face’. Welcome the breeze on your neck!
Created in Hove, Sussex, indie brand Radish encapsulates everything about 60s and 70s fashion that I love.
2018 is the year I'm bringing back the watch, but not as you know it! Luckily, giving your watch a makeover is so inexpensive but effective, this DIY cost less than £5. Perfect for the middle of January!
The amazing Jenny Brownlees shows you how to recreate this season's statement collars at home without a Gucci budget. For less than a fiver and an hour of your time (including glue drying time), you'll be the belle of the disco.

Knitwear is my favourite, but not just any knitwear. It has to be the right kind. Here's some gals who are going to keep you nice and warm this winter.
As it’s Christmas I thought it about time I finally road tested all those pretty hair accessories you see on the High Street. Get ready to add some extra sparkle to your Christmas outfits this year.
This year will be June's first ever Christmas, and my first Christmas as a mum. I keep remembering I'm the parent now! It's time for my boyfriend and I to start festive traditions that my daughter will hopefully cherish for many years to come.
The AW17 collection is inspired by Upper East Side New York in the 1970s. They’ve imagined the world of Diana Vreeland and her marvellous escapism from everyday reality.
Since having June in April, I have been addicted to jumpsuits. However, if you’re unsure where to start, then hopefully my tips on how to wear yours will help.
Bras. They have always been an uncomfortable issue for me, quite literally. Come with me as I explore the world of online bra shopping.
Now you know we enjoy anything that is inspired by decades gone by, and new clothing brand on the scene Joanie fits that bill perfectly.
We stumbled across Helsinki based designer Liisa Riski at LFW last season, we were instantly drawn to her graphic prints and safari inspired summer pieces.
We adore US based brand Free People, between the Betty team we have so many favourite pieces that we wear time and time again.
We’ve long been fan-girls of the beautiful clothes that Vivi Ponti designs for her own name cult label Vivetta.

If you have been reading Betty for a while you will know that we are big fans of Italian label Vivetta. We interviewed it’s founder, Vivetta Ponti, and told you all about the inspiration behind their SS14 collection in our Winter 2013 issue.
Despite today’s grey skies and splashes of rain we are determined to kick the week off with something brighter because, in our minds, Spring is well and truly on the way.
I am sure you’ve come across Rixo before, it’s a London based, mid range brand founded by Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey almost a decade ago. With three stores in London (one of which is bridal), they have expanded their collections from knitwear to PJs and even shoes. Let’s explore them…
