Orla Kiely SS16 Lookbook

You must know by now we have a pretty strong crush on all things Orla Kiely and their SS16 collection is no exception. When we saw the presentation back in September it really left us feeling inspired and wanting ALL THE CLOTHES. Taking design references from 70s American photographer Slim Aarons and his iconic hazy poolside images, Palm Springs in the latter half of the decade and style icons such as Paula Prentis and Katherine Ross. There’s a touch of Stepford Wives who lunch, with flowing floral dresses, wallpaper print jumpsuits and mis-matched twin-sets. It certainly has had us dreaming of all things sunny and in California recently!

It shouldn’t be long until it hits the Orla Kiely website, so keep your eyes peeled here. Orla and her team seem to have taken inspiration for their dresses directly from our dreams. So tonight we’ll be dreaming of AW16 hoping for more of the same.
