There are so many extraordinary things you can do to say thank you with this Mother’s Day, so I've selected just few of my favourites with this edit of extra special pieces from notonthehighstreet.

There are so many personalised gifts which freeze a moment in time. From turning a child’s doodles into a card holder or carrying their handwriting wherever you go in the form of an engraved necklace, turning special family photos into bookmarks or sacred recipes into tea towels. We are surrounded by so many talented sellers that turn memories into keepsakes and create special ways to honour these skills that have been passed down through the generations.

Sometimes elevating the everyday helps you appreciate the little things that our loved ones do. These flower bouquet biscuits will turn any tea break into a fancy occasion. If they love their morning coffee, a ceramic mug is order of the day, and for something a bit stronger these vintage inspired coupes would be a welcome addition to a drink lovers collection.

If interiors are more their vibe, you’ll find so many perfect prints but this one from Oh Squirrel sums my mum up perfectly - what is better than a dress with pockets? The ‘I Love Us’ print hangs proudly in my hallway, and I love the sentiment of it, making me smile every time I see it.

Lastly, and my go to, never fail options are candles and flowers. This bottle arrangement is such a nice idea and something that can be reused long after the flowers have gone and what a lovely Mother’s Day set up it would make next to some pastel candles over a long brunch or lunch. Whatever you decide upon, just a thank you to all the mum’s, step mums, grandmas, nanna’s and generations of women out there. You’re doing a brilliant job!
