AD: notonthehighstreet Christmas Gift Guide
This post is a paid post in collaboration with notonthehighstreet.
The best thing about working with notonthehighstreet this year has been getting to know so many of their beautiful products and sellers. The site is absolutely jam packed with special things that will make the perfect gifts for Christmas. Buying gifts can be tricky, but hopefully this edit will save you some time, and help you find a special something for someone on your list.
Candles & Books
I am starting with candles and I feel like you can’t go wrong with some extra glow this time of year. These tapered dinner candles are available to customise, I went for pink and red, but there’s a whole host of colour combinations to choose from. There’s also these Christmas tree candles that come in both my favourite colours, pink and green, a super cute festive touch to any corner of someone’s home. The toadstool candle can be found here in both red pink and green too, Ajouter store is always my go too for novelty shaped candles whatever the occasion. Notonthehighstreet has a wonderful selection of books, this pink book caught my eye for obvious reasons. Another great seller to look at is Rare Bird Book’s, this book bundle is curated with whatever genres you select, making it a total surprise for your recipient, a very fun gift idea for the book lover in your life.
jewellery
If you’re looking for something extra special for everyday, these scallop hoops from Leila Swift are something I wear all the time - they also come in silver, with a matching ring and necklace too. The initial charm can come in whichever birthstone colour you’d like, my birthday is in May which is Emerald, which is very lucky for this green lover over here.
Glassware & Ceramics
I am obsessed with these ceramic houses, I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s imagining all the world’s that could live inside (someone watch too many episodes of The Borrowers when I was younger). Or more simply they add a beautiful soft glow with an LED tea light inside that can burn all winter long. There’s some beautiful glassware on the site, these champagne coupes have the perfect vintage feel, with their rose pink tint for any tipple of your choice.
Crackers, Decorations & Napkins
Ok, hear me out. I think some of the best presents are the everyday, but elevated. These velvet trim napkins are a luxurious edition to any table, especially paired with these handmade crackers which you can add any keepsake or surprise inside. Hand painted decorations are also a lovely touch to a friend or family’s tree, that they can bring out each year. CocoLulu has a great selection, and this giant velvet bow can be personalised with embroidery of your choice.
Personalised liberty & incense
There’s lots of personalised Liberty items on the site, it was hard to narrow it down but when I saw this mini hot water bottle cover I knew it was the one I wanted to share and also add to my gift list. I love a hot water bottle, but am always wrapping them in tea towels, this is much more elegant for those colder nights to keep toasty. And also when I saw these incense sticks and holder, I thought it would make a great gift, and there’s a few different designs available too.
Festive treats & chocolates
Icing cookies sounds like a brilliant idea, but in reality it’s going to take me a few more years of practice to get anywhere near as good as these iced festive doors from Honeywell Bakes. Save yourself the stress (and mess) and order these, or the wonderfully cute jar of festive gingerbread men and candy canes, they last a little while, making them a great present for a host. Lastly, these Brussel sprout chocolates are a great stocking filler, or for anyone that isn’t so keen on the vegetable variety, paired with some festive shaped star or moon tea bags for an extra festive tea break.
